Part-Time Emergency Department Nurse

Role Summary: Provides direct patient care including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Focuses on promoting patient and family-centered care, educating patients on managing their health, and ensuring communication across care teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participate in activities that enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and caregivers.
• Assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and emotional factors.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• RN license required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• No prior experience required; two years of experience preferred.
