Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient addiction treatment team in Taos, NM. No prior addiction medicine experience necessary; training provided. The role involves

• Providing patient assessments and ongoing management for substance use disorders
• Prescribing and monitoring Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) medications
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
• Educating patients on addiction and treatment options
• Monitoring patient progress, ensuring compliance, and maintaining accurate records
• Providing crisis intervention and participating in quality improvement efforts
  
  

Qualifications include an active license, DEA registration, and clinical experience, preferably in addiction or related fields. Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
