- Perform basic to complex tests accurately following established protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Communicate test results and technical information effectively to healthcare teams via verbal and electronic means.
- Analyze and interpret results, using critical thinking and independent judgment, and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Participate in quality improvement activities and provide instructions on specimen collection, handling, and storage.
- Associate’s degree or technical certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) from AMT or ASCP within one year.
- 1-3 years of related experience preferred.
- Effective communication, visual acuity, and ability to work in a team environment.
