- Conduct patient rounds and participate in ongoing inpatient management.
- Document clinical findings, assessments, and care plans.
- Order and coordinate diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and next steps.
- Lead discharge planning and coordinate follow-up care.
- Coordinate care across specialties and support interdisciplinary teamwork.
- APRN or PA licensure with the ability to manage inpatient medicine patients.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient/family education skills.
- Competence in documentation, care coordination, and ordering appropriate services.
- Capability to perform invasive procedures only within credentialing and required supervision.
