Role Overview: The Echo Technician (Cardiac Sonographer) performs high-quality echocardiographic examinations to support cardiologists in diagnosing cardiovascular diseases, providing structural and hemodynamic insights for treatment planning.

- Perform transthoracic (TTE), stress, and transesophageal (TEE) echocardiograms following established protocols.
- Assist with advanced exams, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Analyze cardiac measurements, blood flow, and present findings to cardiologists.
- Educate patients with empathy, address individual needs, and ensure exceptional patient care.
- Maintain quality assurance, troubleshoot equipment, and keep exam rooms sanitized and stocked.
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program in Echocardiography.
- Active RDCS (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) credential, or registry-eligible with certification within 12 months.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and pathology, excellent communication, computer literacy, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
