Art Therapist

The Art Therapist (Contract) will provide age-appropriate therapeutic art or music activities to patients with emotional or substance abuse issues, supporting their mental health recovery.

• Deliver therapy sessions aligned with treatment goals, demonstrating sound methodology and contributing to patient progress.
• Plan, prepare, and report on activities timely and accurately.
• Maintain administrative documentation and assist with resource allocation and quality improvement initiatives.
• Requires a Master’s degree in Art Therapy, ATR-P or ATR certification preferred, with experience in behavioral health preferred.
• Position is in-person in Shreveport, LA, with hours determined by the Director of Clinical Services.
• Compensation is $50/hour; prior experience in special education and experiential therapy certification are preferred.
