The Executive Director of Integrated Public Safety Education provides strategic vision,
leadership, and operational oversight for all programs supporting Arizona Western College’s mission in public safety
education and workforce development. This position unifies Fire Science, Emergency Medical Services EMS, and Law
Enforcement/Detention Officer Training LETA & DOTA under a single leadership structure, ensuring integrated, high-quality training pipelines from entry-level academies to advanced supervision, management, and tactical instruction.
Working collaboratively with area fire chiefs, police and sheriff departments, emergency response agencies, tribal entities, and regional health partners, the Executive Director aligns academic programming with real-world workforce demands while ensuring compliance with state, federal, and certifying bodies.
