Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Special Education, the Teacher of the Orthopedically Impaired is responsible for providing assessment, related services, and specialized academic instruction to students ages 3 through 22 with an Individualized Education Program (IEP). The position develops and implements IEPs in collaboration with special education staff; coordinates services as specified in students’ IEPs; provides consultation and support to general and special education teachers and paraprofessionals; and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements / Qualifications
This position requires an Education Specialist Credential: Orthopedically Impaired. The candidate must have an English Language Learner Authorization/CLAD, valid CPR & 1st Aid Certificates
It is recommended you attach a letter of interest, 3 letters of recommendation (written within one year), and if you are a current teacher, a performance evaluation.
