Sales Enablement Specialist

Salary Range - $65,000 - $85,000

 

NOTE: This position is not eligible for any work visa sponsorship. Candidates must be able to work without any restrictions of work permits now or in the future.


Job Summary

If you are ready to run, evolve and support the operational backbone of our sales and GTM engine, and you thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, then this newly created role at Azurite Consulting may be the right next step for you. This is a junior, hands-on, build‑as‑you‑go Sales and Go-To-Market operations role for someone early in their career (2 years) who wants real ownership, not just task execution. You’ll help design and improve the operational processes that support our sales and GTM lifecycle, from proposal to execution. This includes client communications, proposal workflows, content planning, CRM setup and reporting, pipeline hygiene, content cadence proposal workflows and respondent operations. This is a role where you won’t just follow processes — you’ll actively help build and maintain them, learning how a commercial operation truly works end to end. Please note this is NOT a technical position – it is an operational and administrative support role.


Azurite Consulting is a boutique primary research consultancy led by former McKinsey and Bain consultants. We work with leading private equity firms, hedge funds, and global corporations to uncover the market signals that matter—and turn them into actionable strategies.


This is a hybrid role with the expectation to be in the Jersey City office 3 days per week to collaborate and work side-by-side with the team.


About the Role


The core responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:


Proposal & Engagement Support

·       Draft first‑pass proposal frameworks for prospective clients

·       Assemble and package proposal decks

·       Manage distribution of all client‑facing deliverables per firm standards

·       Draft routine client correspondence

·       Maintain accurate client records across all active engagements


Sales Ops & Outreach Support

·       Draft outreach emails for client targeting

·       Research prospective contacts and build account target lists

·       Prepare materials for each stage of the weekly ABM workflow

 

Process, CRM & Reporting

·       Own CRM optimization, data integrity, and ongoing maintenance

·       Build and maintain recurring reports (weekly ABM, pipeline summary, outreach tracking)

·       Drive cadence on all recurring workflows with minimal oversight

·       Maintain LinkedIn prospect lists, contact databases, and CRM records

·       Spot process gaps and recommend improvements proactively

 

Content & Brand Operations

·       Write, format, schedule, and post approved thought‑leadership content

·       Maintain website copy, case studies, and marketing collateral

·       Draft deal announcements and testimonials for review

·       Manage the content pipeline tracker: flag deadlines, keep drafts moving, prevent stalls

 

Survey Respondent Experience

·       Serve as primary point of contact for research survey respondents

·       Manage all respondent communications (scheduling, confirmations, reminders, follow‑ups)

·       Troubleshoot respondent issues and ensure a smooth participation experience

·       Track feedback to identify patterns and improve respondent engagement

Required Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills:

•    Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, communications, or relevant coursework

•    2 years’ experience working in professional services, or other sales operations/administration capacity

•    Must have CRM experience (i.e., HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)

•    Process-oriented — can build and maintain recurring workflows

•    Strong writer — Skilled in crafting well‑structured, client‑ready drafts rather than template‑based content

•    Applies contextual reasoning to tasks and delivers thoughtful, self‑directed work

•    Organized, reliable, responsive; comfortable managing multiple workstreams with excellent prioritization and time management

•    Excellent prioritization and multi-tasking abilities

•    Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace
