We are looking for a motivated, professional Sales and Leasing Assistant to join our 55 community!

The Sales and Leasing Assistant supports the leasing and management team by providing exceptional customer service, assisting prospective residents through the leasing process, maintaining accurate records, and helping achieve occupancy goals. This position serves as a key point of contact for current and prospective residents while ensuring compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Leasing & Sales

  • Greet and assist prospective residents in person, by phone, and via email.
  • Conduct community and model apartment tours.
  • Explain lease terms, rental rates, community amenities, and policies.
  • Follow up with prospects to convert leads into leases.
  • Assist with the preparation and execution of lease agreements and renewals.
  • Maintain leasing traffic logs and prospect records.
  • Meet leasing and occupancy goals established by management.
  • Participate in outreach marketing and resident referral programs.

Resident Relations

  • Provide professional and courteous customer service to residents.
  • Respond to resident inquiries and direct concerns to the appropriate team member.
  • Assist with resident move-ins and move-outs.
  • Help coordinate resident events and community activities.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents to encourage lease renewals.

Administrative Support

  • Maintain accurate resident files and leasing documentation.
  • Enter and update information in property management software.
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, notices, and other administrative documents.
  • Process applications and verify required documentation.
  • Assist with rent collection and resident account inquiries as directed.
  • Monitor office supplies and maintain an organized leasing office.

Marketing & Outreach

  • Maintain online listings and marketing platforms.
  • Ensure property photographs, pricing, and availability are current.
  • Assist with social media and community marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor competitor pricing and market trends.

Property Operations Support

  • Conduct daily market surveys and community inspections.
  • Report maintenance concerns and follow up on service requests as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining model units and amenity areas in tour-ready condition.
  • Support property management during inspections, audits, and special projects.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous leasing, sales, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws and leasing practices preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk the community and climb stairs as needed.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and use office equipment for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
