We are seeking a friendly, charismatic, and patient-centered individual who can communicate clearly, warmly, and respectfully while maintaining professionalism and efficiency.
Position Summary
Azure Eye Center is looking for an experienced Patient Service Representative to support front-desk operations at both our Alliance (Fort Worth) and Colleyville locations. The ideal candidate is welcoming, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment without losing accuracy or composure.
This individual will manage patient check-ins and check-outs, handle incoming calls, schedule and reschedule appointments, and support daily administrative workflows. Strong communication skills are essential, and the ability to converse in English and Vietnamese is a valued plus. Full fluency is not required, but candidates must be able to carry a conversation and relay information effectively to Vietnamese-speaking patients.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–2 years of medical front desk or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to converse in English and Vietnamese (bilingual is a plus; fluency not required)
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with a friendly, welcoming, and patient-focused demeanor
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with older patients, ensuring they feel supported and understood
- Experience with patient scheduling, check-in/check-out workflows, and phone operations
- Knowledge of ModMed EMA is a plus but not required
- Familiarity with RingCentral, KLARA, and Monday CRM is highly desirable but not required
- Excellent multitasking and time-management abilities
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between Alliance and Colleyville locations
- Compassionate, approachable personality with the ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
Responsibilities
- Check patients in and out efficiently while maintaining a warm, welcoming environment
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting patients with kindness, patience, and professionalism
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients of all ages, including older adults who may need additional time or explanation
- Answer incoming calls, route messages, and assist patients with questions
- Schedule and reschedule appointments accurately and promptly
- Verify patient information, update records, and ensure accurate documentation
- Support patient flow and collaborate with clinical staff to maintain smooth operations
- Assist with administrative tasks such as scanning, uploading documents, and managing patient communications
- Utilize ModMed EMA, RingCentral, KLARA, and Monday CRM as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment
- Travel between Azure Eye Center locations as needed
- Uphold Azure Eye Center’s standards of integrity, excellence, and patient-centered care
