We’re looking for motivated individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about hospitality. This position is mainly needed on Sundays from 9am-3pm. Must be eligible to work in the United States. Pay is $10.98 per hour plus tips.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as LightSpeed POS and OpenTable, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems like OpenTable or POS terminals, including basic math calculations
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant experience or food service background, preferably in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Culinary experience or familiarity with food preparation and food industry standards is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Experience in serving, bussing, hosting/hostess roles, or related hospitality positions is preferred
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing; ability to upsell menu items confidently
