Role Overview
Key Responsibilities:
The Director of Hotel Operations will be responsible for coordinating and directing the hotel's operations to achieve maximum profitability and guest satisfaction. This includes managing multiple functional areas, making independent decisions to achieve business objectives, and working closely with the Executive Committee to drive results.
Day-to-Day Tasks:
- Manage employee relations, including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, coaching/counseling, and performance management
- Direct and coordinate hotel operations, including employees, maintenance, sales, and profit/loss controls
- Develop and implement strategies to improve hotel operations and increase revenue
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and loyalty through effective customer service and communication
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to senior management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and products to guests
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, and partners
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the hotel remains competitive
