MANUFACTURING CUSTODIAN
2ND SHIFT (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM)
WAGE SCALE: $19.82 per hour
Aztec Manufacturing is a Tier 1 automotive supplier looking for a competent custodian who is dedicated and detail oriented. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial and custodial services (particulary in a manufacturing environment) with a strong focus on creating a clean, organized and welcoming environment. This role needs to maintain a variety of cleaning functions, comply with all safety guidelines and have a keen eye for detail - quality inspection aptitude is essential.
DUTIES:
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of all areas including common areas and restrooms (including toilets, sinks and fixtures)
- Refill restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels and toilet paper
- Empty and clean trash and recycle receptacles
- Clean and sanitize locker rooms, break and lunchroom areas
- Sweep, mop, vacuum floors as needed
- Clean and sanitize all high traffic areas (doorknobs, light switches, etc.)
- Dust areas (including removing cob webs) as needed
- Ensure all walkways are clean and tidy at all times
- Clean and sanitize locker rooms and other items
- Some deep cleaning, as needed
- Some outdoor cleaning, as needed
- Follow all safety and quality standards
- Follow all company procedures regarding cleaning chemicals and supplies to ensure safety and efficiency
- Clean-up spills (oil, coolant, etc.)
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
- Other duties as assigned
- Walking in and around the facility with great frequency throughout the entire shift
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to 10-12 hours
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Must have a High School diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and or experience.
· Proven experience in industrial janitorial or custodian work required.
· Strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills.
· Must have a positive attitude with good customer relation skills.
· Must be able to perform a variety of physical activities that requires standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, kneeling, reaching, etc.
· Must not have any type of lifting restrictions.

Pay: $19.82 per hour
