We are seeking a highly qualified and skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Azria Health in Winterset, IA. As a key member of our healthcare consulting company, you will be responsible for overseeing food and nutrition services in our Long Term Care facility. Responsibilities:
Oversee food and nutrition services provided to residents in our facilities, ensuring compliance with policy and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with the Food and Nutrition Services Manager and clinical staff to develop and implement effective food and nutrition plans
Conduct assessments and care plans to determine residents' nutritional needs and develop personalized plans to meet those needs
Develop and implement policies and procedures for food and nutrition services, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Provide education and training to staff on food and nutrition-related topics
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high-quality care and services are provided to residents
Requirements:
Bachelor's (or master's) degree from a regionally accredited college or university with successful completion of a nationally accredited program in nutrition or dietetics
Completion of at least 900 hours of dietetics practice supervised by a registered dietitian or nutrition professional
Licensure or certification as a registered dietitian or nutrition professional
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and other stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
