The Director of Culinary Services directs all activities of the Culinary Service Department and dining room. The Director of Culinary Services is responsible for the quality of meals served, quality of service delivery during meal service, control of Dietary Department expenses, and for compliance with special diets offered by the community as well as scheduling and management of the Dietary staff.

The boring (but very important) stuff:
- Dietary Manager Certification (preferred but may work with the right person to obtain)
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- Three years of experience in food service preparation and managing staff.
- Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public, cheerfully and with enthusiasm.
- Must meet employment requirements, including TB, criminal background check, and drug screen.
