Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across various specialties, including obstetrics, gynecology, and maternal-fetal medicine.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process clearly and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate ultrasound equipment with precision, adhering to aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment.
• Analyze images for clarity and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary to obtain optimal results.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to interpret findings and provide comprehensive reports.
• Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and imaging results in accordance with medical standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, medical terminology standards, and regulatory guidelines at all times.
• Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology and sonography practices through ongoing education.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging.
• Proficiency in operating sonography equipment and understanding of diagnostic radiology principles.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
• Ability to apply aseptic techniques diligently to prevent infection during procedures.
• Familiarity with maternal-fetal medicine practices and obstetric ultrasound protocols.
• Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and attentiveness.

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
