Position Summary
The inventory control specialist will work in our shipping and receiving warehouse environment and oversee inventory control, manage deliveries, inspect inventory, maintain inventory records, and order products. You will work in the warehouse to track items, parts, and products for the organization. You will report inventory levels and issues to management, looking for any discrepancy with inventory, and create reports that show available inventory or issues with inventory counts. You will assist in creating policies to ensure efficient inventory control, to aid with safety protocols, in the workplace, and for other employees to accurately track inventory data.

Essential Job Functions
- Track ingoing and outgoing inventory, perform daily cycle counts, and report any discrepancies you are unable to reconcile.
- Keep inventory counts in our ERP system up-to-date, as this allows employees in other departments to check stock levels and work more efficiently.
- Track and document changes in inventory.
- Perform cycle counts, or check different sections of inventory on a rotative basis.
- Reconcile discrepancies.
- Use our ERP system to communicate inventory information with other business units.
- Ensure proper labeling and shipping.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Demonstrates ability to work independently and on a team.
- Strong sense of self-motivation and self-discipline.
- Works effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Expert at managing tight deadlines.
- Adept at managing and maintaining relationships between multifunctional team members.
- High School diploma or GED certificate.
- Warehouse or logistics experience.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Organizational skills.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
