Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Accurately input patient data and prescription information into pharmacy software.
- Resolve insurance rejections and process prior authorizations.
- Prepare and label medications for pharmacist verification.
- Process third-party insurance claims including Medicare, Medicaid, PAAD and Commercial Plans.
- Inventory Management including ordering medications and supplies, managing expiration dates and recalls, maintaining proper storage conditions.
- Assist patients at drop-offs and pick-up, answer phone calls and triage to pharmacist when needed.
- Maintain HIPAA confidentiality.
- Follow state Board of Pharmacy rules.
- Maintain active certification and CE requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and math skills.
- Adopt to business and patient needs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must have active Technician Certification/License
- Strong organizational skills
- The ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed
- Familiarity with pharmacy and medical terminology desired
