Technician - Maintenance I_STX $1,500 Bonus !!!

Pay Rate:

$22.00 per hour

Work Schedule:

This position follows a rotating 4-day schedule:

• Weeks 1 & 2: Work Monday through Thursday

• Weeks 3 & 4: Work Wednesday through Saturday

Hours: 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM each day, with a 30-minute lunch break.

You’ll have every Sunday off and either Friday–Saturday or Monday–Tuesday off depending on the week.

Objective:
Ensure optimal operation and longevity of all equipment and facilities by executing proactive and reactive maintenance tasks with precision, minimizing downtime, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities and Performance Metrics:

1. Preventative Maintenance
• Goal: Execute scheduled preventative maintenance tasks across all equipment and systems.
• Performance Metric: Achieve 95% or higher adherence to the maintenance schedule without deferring tasks.
2. Reactive Maintenance
• Goal: Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Performance Metric: Achieve an average response time of less than 30 minutes for emergency repairs, with 90% of issues resolved within the first two hours.
3. Equipment Downtime Reduction
• Goal: Reduce equipment downtime through timely and effective maintenance.
• Performance Metric: Maintain equipment uptime at 98% or higher.
4. Safety Compliance
• Goal: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
• Performance Metric: Zero safety incidents directly attributable to maintenance activities, with 100% completion of safety audits and corrective actions within specified timelines.
5. Quality of Work
• Goal: Perform all maintenance tasks with a high level of quality, ensuring that repairs and services extend the life of equipment and prevent future breakdowns.
• Performance Metric: Achieve a first-time fix rate of 90% or higher, minimizing repeat maintenance calls for the same issue.
6. Inventory Management
• Goal: Manage and maintain an adequate inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for maintenance tasks.
• Performance Metric: Ensure parts and tools availability meets demand 95% of the time, with zero instances of delays due to stockouts.
7. Continuous Improvement
• Goal: Identify and implement improvements to maintenance processes and procedures.
• Performance Metric: Successfully implement at least 2 process improvements per quarter, leading to measurable efficiency gains or cost reductions.
8. Documentation and Reporting
• Goal: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all maintenance activities.
• Performance Metric: Achieve 100% on-time reporting and documentation accuracy, with all records updated in the maintenance management system within 24 hours of task completion.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of maintenance and/or technician experience
• Powder coating knowledge is a plus but not required
