What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fiber Installer position at AZComm?
Job Summary
Motivated, reliable individuals who are ready to work and earn. The job is active but not heavy labor (lighter than construction). You’ll travel to customer locations and occasionally use a 28 ft. ladder to climb poles, drill, and complete fiber installations.
No Experience? No Problem.
We provide up to 2 weeks of training. You’ll be paired with an experienced technician and learn hands-on. The first weeks may be challenging—as with any new job—but you’ll gain valuable skills quickly.
Responsibilities
- Installing and running fiber lines inside homes
- Climbing poles, and working in basements or attics when needed
- Checking and verifying signal levels
- Installing equipment (modems, routers)
- Troubleshooting issues
- Providing great customer service
