Essential Functions
- Support day-to-day HR operations and serve as a point of contact for employees and managers
- Manage timecards and process bi-weekly payroll
- Manage imputed wages for expatriates on visas
- Administer employment-based immigration and global mobility programs, including H-1B, TN, E-3, L-1, and other visa sponsorships, expatriate assignments, work authorization renewals, and immigration compliance while partnering with external legal counsel, government agencies, managers, and employees to ensure timely, accurate case management.
- Audits payroll/process/edits for each period
- Administer employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly into the company culture and understand policies and procedures.
- Oversee employee evaluation processes, provide guidance on performance management systems and facilitate regular feedback sessions
- Manage benefits administration, including health plans, retirement programs, workers' compensation claims, and FMLA leave requests
- Administer and support full-cycle recruitment (job postings, screening, interviews, offers, onboarding)
- Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and HR best practices
- Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
- Maintain and update employee records, Paylocity data, and personnel files
- Assist with performance management processes, including reviews and coaching support
- Coordinate and support training and development initiatives
- Analyze HR metrics and provide reporting to support decision-making
- Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational changes
- Participate in sustainability strategies that directly support specific SDGs
- Work with all departments to embed sustainable practices into daily operations
- Engage all employees to raise awareness and drive participation in sustainability efforts
- Promote employee engagement initiatives and a positive workplace culture
- Assist with audits, compliance reporting, and documentation
- Participating in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills
- Knowledge of general human resources policies and procedures
- Strong working knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the company’s payroll system, Paylocity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- BS/BA degree in Human resources or Business Administration
- 5 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist.
