Azbil North America, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Order Processor Inside Sales Associate.
Essential Functions
- Entering sales orders and managing existing lead time requirements within ERP and customer portals
- Plan and prioritize to ensure maximum inventory performance while minimizing delays
- Organize shipping documents in internal and external systems for domestic and international shipments
- Reconciling inventory discrepancies
- Put together and review backlogs on a regular basis for inventory regulation
- Issue requests for quotes (RFQs) when requested via email or over the phone
- Coordinate with accounting to add new vendors and customers
- Provide estimated lead times, tracking numbers, and status updates for service and timeliness
- Coordinate with sales to provide any adjusted lead times or discounts on orders
- Follows guidelines set by management to ensure an optimal level of inventory
- Perform a Return Material Authorization (RMA) when needed (wrong items, damaged items, etc.)
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers from the approved vendor list
- Aim to achieve timely deliveries by providing material status updates and expediting actual and shortage forecasts of materials
- Quote products using data price sheets and applying any discounts that may be necessary
- Manage customer approved portals
- Maintain good customer relations by providing excellent customer service
- Understand and engage in logistics including creating shipments and preparing parts for shipment, using harmonized tariff codes, incoterms, and understanding export considerations while shipping internationally
- Receive and process incoming inventory and parts replacement
- Procures materials, components, equipment, and services from our approved vendors
- Selects suppliers from the approved vendor list, issues RFQs, analyzes proposals, provide estimated delivery times, and issues and/or adjusts purchase orders in a timely manner
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2 years of customer service experience
- Working beginner to intermediate proficiency in MS office including reporting in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Effective oral and written communication skills to all levels of the organization
- The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
- The ability to effectively communicate and interface with many corporate, customer, and employee levels
- Team Player
- The ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
- Detail oriented
- Experience with the software listed below preferred
- SAP
- Salesforce
- Aptean Made2Manage
- Applied Materials Supplier Network Gateway (SNG)
- LAM Research, MyLAM
