Responsibilities of the Housekeeping Aide:
- Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to general manager.
- Clean (including vacuuming, wiping, mopping, polishing, etc.) rooms, offices, and common areas; polish and straighten items; confirm residents’ rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained in an attractive manner and residents’ personal items are safeguarded.
- Maintain a work area free of hazardous conditions, i.e., spills, excessive supplies, equipment, etc.
- Keep work and storage areas in a clean, organized, sanitary, and safe condition.
- Other duties assigned as needed.
Requirements/Qualifications of the Housekeeping Aide:
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
