Duties
- Assist veterinarian during examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Prepare pets for surgery and monitor them during anesthesia and recovery.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
- Provide education to pet owners regarding animal care, nutrition, and training.
- Handle and restrain animals safely during examinations and treatments.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilization of instruments and maintenance of equipment.
- Assist with inventory monitoring and supply management.
- Model professionalism, emotional maturity, and a team-oriented mindset.
Skills

- Proficiency in safe, fear-free handling to ensure safe interactions with pets.
- Strong understanding of common medications and drug protocols.

- Ability to perform X-rays and dental X-rays and understand imaging techniques.
- Confidence in drawing blood and IV catheterization for various medical needs.

- Responsible for anesthesia monitoring and troubleshooting anesthetic complications.
- Steadiness during emergencies and under pressure.
- Commitment to continuing education and updated recommendations.
