Duties
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and lawn care equipment to mow fairways, greens, tees, and roughs with precision and efficiency
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, trimming shrubs, edging beds, and aerating soil to promote healthy growth
- Conduct routine turf care including fertilization, aeration, and topdressing, to keep the course lush and healthy
- Assist with general gardening tasks like weeding, mulching, and soil preparation to enhance aesthetic appeal
- Use landscaping techniques to shape bunkers, pathways, and other course features for safety and visual harmony
- Maintain all equipment through regular inspections and basic repairs to ensure safety and operational readiness
Skills
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices
- Experience with lawn care techniques including mowing, fertilizing, and aerating
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and gardening shears
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in outdoor environments
- Strong understanding of horticulture principles related to turfgrass management and plant health
- Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor as needed
