About AZAK
AZAK is transforming how the world moves. We are a startup in defense technology, empowering people with everything they need to move, achieve, and do more with the world's most efficient, powerful, and structurally adaptable electric mobility systems.
AZAK’s patented technology places all of the drive components needed to operate an electric vehicle inside and below the center point of the wheel. This simple but groundbreaking mechanical innovation helps us create vehicles with the lowest center of gravity, higher efficiency, and modular properties that provide optionality, space savings, and freedom of frame design.
As we deploy our systems into the hands of the end-user, we are seeking a Field Service
Technician to serve as the ultimate subject matter expert of the AZAK system. This is a hybrid role for a gritty, detail-oriented professional who is equally comfortable turning wrenches in the shop and briefing senior military leaders in the field. You will spend time physically building and maintaining our systems with a technician’s precision, while also training alongside military units to provide on-the-ground technical support and tactical advisement. The ideal candidate has a strong military background, an elite work ethic, and a deep, personal care for the products they build and the operators they support.
Responsibilities
Technical Assembly & Maintenance
- Serve as a resident expert on the AZAK system, physically assembling, testing, and maintaining units in our Denver facility.
- Exhibit a devotion to excellence by treating every sub-component and final assembly with uncompromising rigor. You take pride in delivering hardware that is as refined as it is rugged.

Field Operations & Technical Service
- Train alongside military and government personnel to test sites, training centers, and operational environments to ensure our systems perform flawlessly.
- Operate with a driver's seat mentality and radical ownership. When a system goes down in the field, you anticipate obstacles, take absolute accountability for the repair, and steer through the friction to get AZAK back in the fight.
- Serve as the critical feedback loop between the end-user and AZAK engineering. Practice debate and commit by relentlessly advocating for the operator's needs, pressure-testing our assumptions, and delivering actionable insights back to our engineering teams.
Representation
- Act as the face of AZAK to the customer, representing our mission and values with total professionalism.
- Advise commanders and operators on how to best integrate AZAK systems into their formations and CONOPS.
- Brief technical capabilities, limitations, and operational strategies to all echelons of military and government leadership clearly and confidently.
