What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Engineer 2 - HVAC & Plumbing position at Azad, Inc.?
Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Mechanical Engineer and provide scoping, design, design coordination/reviews and facilitates the construction/remodel/replacement of HVAC, controls, plumbing systems (water & waste), fire alarm and detection systems, engine generators and fuel systems on all facilities including Substations, Control Houses, Relay Houses, remote Radio Buildings, Maintenance Headquarters, Control Centers and miscellaneous support buildings. This position will also escort Architectural & Engineering (A&E) firms and outside construction contractors for preparing assessments and surveys and conducting bid tours. This position is located in Vancouver, Washington.
This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is full time on site based in Vancouver, WA with on site 5 days per week. The hourly pay rate range for this position is $45.00 and $51.00 depending on qualifications.
The Ideal Candidate Must Possess The Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (from an ABET accredited school), Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Management or a directly related field is required
5 Years Of Engineering Experience Is Required.
Knowledge of engineering concepts, principals, and practices applicable to components and facilities found on a regional transmission systems is required.
Experience with codes & standards (NFPA, NEC, ASHRAE, UPC)
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite Software including Word, Blue Beam, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
Valid U.S. Driver's License or Real ID is required.
