Laboratory Sciences Systems Specialist

Title: Systems Specialist (Laboratory Sciences)

Pay rate: $34-38/hour pay rate

Location: Remote

Duration: 12-18 Months

  12–18 month contract

  Experience with Watson LIMS is required

  Support implementation of a new in-house application

  Work closely with technical/IT teams, SMEs, and global teams

  Schedule and participate in meetings; track action items and status

  Support SMEs with project management and documentation

  Create, draft, review, and maintain test scripts

  Perform step-by-step system validation/testing

  Conduct pre-release testing

  Review S/D (System/Design) test scripts

  Validate system functionality against requirements

  Maintain testing documentation, scripts, and status trackers

  Coordinate testing activities between business, technical, and global teams

  Background could include System Validation Engineer, Research Scientist, QA/Validation, or LIMS-focused roles

BASIC SUMMARY:
The Laboratory Sciences Systems Specialist is responsible for the validation, administration and management of data acquisition systems within Laboratory Sciences by supporting global validation and implementation, change controls and overall lifecycle management of the systems.
