Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive safety programs tailored to construction sites and operational activities in accordance with OSHA and NEC standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards related to risk management, occupational health, and compliance management.
- Collaborate with construction management teams to establish safe work practices and ensure adherence to all safety regulations.
- Lead incident investigations, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Manage workers' compensation claims processes and coordinate with insurance providers as needed.
- Provide training sessions on OSHA regulations, EHS best practices, and construction management software tools to site personnel.
- Monitor ongoing compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations while maintaining accurate documentation for audits and inspections.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or construction site safety roles with a strong understanding of OSHA standards and NEC requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk management strategies and occupational health principles within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) practices and compliance management systems.
- Hands-on experience using construction management software for safety tracking and reporting purposes.
- Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation procedures and OSHA regulations applicable to California construction sites.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train teams effectively on safety protocols.
