AZ StRUT (Arizona Students Recycling Used Technology) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Arizona's students and educators by providing hands-on technology training. Through our innovative program, students develop valuable tech skills while contributing to the refurbishment of computers. These refurbished machines are then donated to schools and nonprofits, enhancing access to technology across the state. Our efforts also promote environmental sustainability by reducing electronic waste and keeping old equipment out of landfills.
Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Warehouse Technician located in Tempe, AZ. The Warehouse Technician will participate in the data sanitization and verification process. This position will also facilitate with donation sorting and refubishment. Expected work days will fall under Tuesday-Friday, perhaps Saturday.
Qualifications
- Experience with device deletion and sanitization
- Competence in computer hardware and repair
- Skills in Inventory Control and organization
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a physical, active environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
