Overview
AZ Prime Dental is seeking a friendly, outgoing, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, brings a positive attitude to the workplace, and is eager to become a valued member of a professional dental team. The ideal candidate has experience in general dentistry, is comfortable taking dental X-rays, and is able to assist efficiently during a variety of procedures while helping create a welcoming and positive experience for our patients.
We also offer a monthly performance-based bonus tied to team production, giving you the opportunity to grow alongside the practice and be rewarded for your contributions.
Compensation: $22-30 per hour, based on experience
Duties
- Assist the dentist during general dentistry procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring instruments are sterilized and infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Take high-quality dental X-rays
- Monitor vital signs and support comprehensive patient care using proper dental terminology and anatomical knowledge
- Ensure patient comfort and deliver a positive, welcoming experience
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment and uphold aseptic techniques
- Support basic administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate patient records
- Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a general dentistry practice
- Comfortable and experienced with taking dental X-rays
- Knowledge of dental instruments and procedures
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
