Role Description This is a contract consulting role for an Electrical Engineer, based in Maricopa, AZ. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for reviewing electrical systems and drawings, performing load calculations, and selecting equipment for power distribution and related infrastructure. Tasks include analyzing power systems, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards, preparing technical documentation, and coordinating with project managers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines. The role also involves troubleshooting electrical issues, supporting field installations, and contributing to project planning, budgeting, and schedule adherence.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering, including applied Electricity and relevant engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Electrical Design, with experience preparing schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.
- Hands-on experience in Power Distribution, including equipment selection and system coordination.
- Knowledge of Power Systems analysis, protection, and reliability, using appropriate software tools.
