Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer based in Irvine, CA. The CFD Engineer will be responsible for conducting simulations and performing analyses related to fluid flow, heat transfer, aerodynamics, and thermal performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the role includes developing accurate CFD models, interpreting simulation results, and providing insights for design optimization. Additional responsibilities include preparing technical reports and contributing to innovative solutions within the field of optimization and fluid dynamics modeling.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of Fluid Dynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Aerodynamics
- Proficient in Thermal Analysis and Heat Transfer methodologies
- Experience in conducting and interpreting computational simulations in a professional setting
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficiency in CFD tools and analytical software is required
- Experience in the design optimization process is a plus
