Human Resources Administrative Assistant | Full Time Position Available

The primary duties of the Human Resource Administrative Assistant are to maintain the efficient day-to-day clerical tasks of the human resource office, provide support to the Vice President of Human Resources, and manage team member data, while actively promoting the Ayres Culture of Caring.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Other duties may be assigned.
- Provides administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources department and executive leadership.
- Maintains and organizes HR records, files, reports, and confidential documentation in both electronic and paper formats.
- Assists with payroll, benefits administration, leave administration, retirement programs, insurance processing, and related employee services.
- Supports recruitment, onboarding, employment advertising, new hire processing, and staffing agency coordination.
- Assists with HRIS data entry, audits, reporting, workflow administration, and employee record maintenance.
- Prepares, tracks, and distributes various HR reports, audits, compliance documents, and employee communications.
- Coordinates employee training programs, compliance initiatives, performance review processes, and company recognition programs.
- Responds to routine employee inquiries and assists with communication between team members, management, vendors, and external agencies.
- Assists with government reporting, regulatory compliance, and employment-related documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Assists in maintaining office operations including supply inventory, mail distribution, document processing, and general administrative support functions.
- Supports special projects, company events, and departmental initiatives as assigned.
- Promotes a professional, positive, and team-oriented work environment while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to company policies and core values.
- Works safely and complies with all company safety standards, policies, and procedures.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the VP of HR, Controller and Executive Personnel.
