Description:
Skilled Maintenance & Construction
- Perform advanced maintenance, repair, and construction work across residential and commercial properties, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and code-compliant results
- Operate heavy equipment and machinery (e.g., skid steers, loaders, compact equipment) safely and efficiently in support of construction and site work
- Execute general contracting and multi-trade work, including carpentry, flooring, drywall, and concrete with minimal supervision
- Complete structural and finish carpentry projects, including decking repair, replacement, framing adjustments, and structural reinforcements
- Install and repair various flooring systems (LVP, tile, hardwood), including proper subfloor preparation and finishing techniques
- Perform drywall installation and finishing, including hanging, taping, mudding, texturing, and blending for seamless repairs
- Conduct concrete work, including forming, pouring, finishing, and repairing pads, walkways, and small structural elements
- Assist with and lead small-scale renovation and capital improvement projects, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within scope
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and project scopes, translating them into accurate, efficient execution
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and quality standards across all skilled work
Advanced Maintenance & Property Support
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across buildings, systems, and grounds, minimizing downtime and extending asset life
- Conduct detailed property inspections to proactively identify structural, mechanical, or safety concerns and recommend solutions
- Troubleshoot and repair complex maintenance issues, using strong problem-solving skills and trade knowledge
- Support site development and exterior upkeep, including grading, drainage adjustments, and light landscaping tied to property integrity
- Maintain, inspect, and organize tools, equipment, and workspaces, ensuring readiness and compliance with safety standards
- Respond to maintenance requests with a sense of urgency, professionalism, and technical expertise
- Collaborate with team members and leadership on project planning, prioritization, and execution
- Provide guidance or support to less experienced team members when needed, helping maintain overall work quality
- 3 years proven experience in maintenance, construction, or a skilled trade, including hands-on work with decking, flooring, drywall, and concrete (required).
- 2 years of experience operating heavy machinary (required)
- Must be 18 years of age (required).
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).
- Candidates must meet eligibility requirements to be insured to operate company vehicles (required).
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Knowledge of general construction methods and materials (decking, flooring, drywall, concrete)
- Understanding of basic maintenance systems, including plumbing, electrical, and general repairs
- Ability to safely operate heavy machinery and maintenance equipment
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently

Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, stoop, climb stairs, twist, kneel, climb, lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 50lbs. Must be able to stand and continuously move throughout the workday. Must be able to work in an outdoor environment for 8 hours.
