On Any Given Day, You Will
- Foster an inclusive, professional, and welcoming experience for candidates and employees.
- Proactively identify and engage talent pool through existing connections and external platforms.
- Partner across divisions to support brand recognition initiatives and growth‑focused campaigns
- Co-manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including drafting job postings, reviewing applications and resumes, interviewing, evaluating candidates, completing documentation, and supporting onboarding.
- Conduct phone screens and assessment interviews and prepare employment offers.
- Support EEO compliance initiatives, guidelines, and goals.
- Serve as a liaison to employment agencies and external recruiters.
- Represent Ayres at universities, career fairs, and other recruiting events.
- Manage multiple projects, priorities and requisitions simultaneously with a strategic focus.
- Support initiatives that deliver a personalized, seamless candidate experience.
- 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in a corporate environment; recruiting in the AEC industry is desired.
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), HRIS platforms, and the MS Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requisitions across disciplines and locations while providing high-touch service to hiring managers.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships with candidates, colleagues, leaders, and HR partners.
- Willingness and ability to routinely travel.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; PHR or SPHR certification is a plus.
- Confident, clear communicator with a calm, positive, and professional presence.
- Experience leveraging social media for recruiting and employer branding.
- Strong negotiation skills and satisfaction in closing offers.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and recruiting-related compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
