Role: Systems Analyst, VP
Location: NYC or Boston

Qualifications
Description:
As System Analyst will be responsible for understanding business system requirements and preparing specifications for configuring complex systems in a cloud environment. He / she needs to be able to select, configure and install third party vendor tools to support various system capabilities. The candidate is required to have prior knowledge of designing and implementing detailed system test plans. Additionally, he / she needs to be adept at conducting technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, compatibility, etc.
Responsibilities:
•Collaborate with product owners and scrum masters to understand business system requirements
•Determine information systems requirements and prepare specification and user documentation for complex systems in a cloud environment
•Perform analysis of current system processes and workflows to evaluate efficiencies and make process improvement recommendations
•Collaborate closely with developers to get projects developed and implemented
•Perform rapid and accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of production issues
•Recommend and assist in the testing of patches and upgrade
•Conduct technical research on system upgrades to determine feasibility, cost, compatibility, etc.
Requirements:
•Prior experience in evaluating business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria and translating them to detailed system requirements in a cloud environment
•Experience with performing logical and physical system designs
•Demonstrated knowledge of system acquisition practices
•Experience with selecting, configuring and installing third party vendor tools that are compatible in a multi-cloud environment
•Experience with assessing functional gaps between existing or proposed systems and business process requirements
•Knowledge of designing detailed systems test plans to ensure accurate and effective implementation of application requirements
•General knowledge of agile software development concepts and processes (e.g., scrum, Kanban, etc.)
•Understanding of DevOps principles (e.g., continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts)
Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science related field
