Role Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team in a full-time capacity at our on-site location in Jersey City, NJ. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing medication counseling, collaborating with healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and maintaining accurate records. Additional responsibilities include managing inventory, supervising pharmacy technicians, and ensuring the delivery of excellent customer care to all patients.
Qualifications
- Expertise in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
- Proficiency in patient counseling, providing clear and compassionate guidance on prescription usage and potential side effects
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with healthcare professionals and engaging with patients
- Inventory management and organizational abilities to ensure optimal stock levels and pharmacy operations
- Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and current medication guidelines
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree and an active pharmacist license in the state of New Jersey
- Previous experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting is an asset
