What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician - Small Assisted Living position at Aynsley Place?
The Courville at Nashua-Aynsley Place is an Assisted Living Community in Nashua, NH conveniently located near St Joseph's Hospital. We are locally owned and operated and committed to providing personalized service and care. We’re looking for a Maintenance Technician.
The Maintenance Technician is responsible of maintaining both the inside and outside of the building along with day-to-day problems that may arise. The schedule is Mon-Fri 8-4:30, and on-call availability every other weekend. Rate $26-30/hr based on experience and skill set.
The right candidate for this position will have:
- Hands-on experience and knowledge of HVAC systems
- Electrical knowledge
- Basic plumbing experience
- Handyman experience (preferred)
- Capable of moving furniture, flip rooms
- Complete repairs, preventative maintenance
- Will be able to change light bulbs, program remotes, hang pictures
- Be able to paint door trims, ceilings, walls
- Fix broken furniture, doors, and other miscellaneous items
- Coordinate with all departments to ensure proper function of all equipment
- Communicate with General Manager and vendors
- Making sure the building is safe for the residents at all times
- Clear sidewalks and doorways during all types of weather
- Knowledge of Life Safety requirements (will train)
- Knowledge of NFPA rules and regulations (will train)
Requirements:
- Must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions with or without reasonable accommodations required by Federal, State or Local law.
- Must understand both spoken and written English.
- Able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
- Must meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of the facility
