Position Overview:
We’re seeking a highly motivated Paralegal to join our Cryptocurrency Litigation team. This is a unique opportunity to support attorneys in cutting-edge cases involving digital asset fraud, financial crimes, and regulatory matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-curious, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, from case intake to trial preparation.
- Draft pleadings, discovery requests, subpoenas, and legal correspondence.
- Organize and manage complex case files, digital records, and document databases.
- Conduct factual research and assist in reviewing blockchain and financial transaction data.
- Coordinate with forensic experts, blockchain analysts, and other litigation support professionals.
- Monitor regulatory updates and developments in digital asset law.
- Communicate with clients regarding case updates, document collection, and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
- At least 4 years of litigation experience; experience in financial fraud or class actions is a plus.
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency, blockchain technology, or digital wallets is a strong plus—but not required.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software (e.g., CMP, Relativity, Westlaw).
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic legal environment.
