Role Description

This is a part-time contract role for a Marketing Content Specialist with the flexibility to work remotely. The contractor will be responsible for creating marketing content, supporting brand development initiatives, assisting with social media and digital communication efforts, and helping communicate AYETEA client's identity in a clear, engaging, and human-centered way.

The role may include creating written content, visual assets, short-form social media content, website copy, promotional materials, and collaborative brainstorming around brand strategy and audience engagement. Strong communication and the ability to work independently while meeting project timelines will be essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with marketing, branding, content creation, or digital communication
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms and online brand presence management
• Ability to create clear, engaging, and audience-focused content
• Comfortable collaborating in a flexible startup-style environment
• Ability to manage time effectively while working independently in a remote setting
• Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Figma, or similar creative tools is a plus
• Familiarity with SEO, short-form video trends, or content strategy is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, Media, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience

Estimated compensation for this role ranges from approximately $20–$65/hr depending on experience, technical skill level, responsiveness, communication, and ability to work independently.

This is currently a flexible contract / moonlighting-style opportunity with potential for longer-term growth.
