What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Waterjet Machinist / Metals Fabricator position at AyersTech Watejet Cutting?
AyersTech Waterjet Cutting in Chetek, WI has a Waterjet Machine Operator position available for an adaptive and energetic individual.
Some responsibilities include, or may include:
- Operation of CNC Waterjet cutting machine ensuring all parts meet tight manufacturing requirements
- Operation of press brake, CNC mill, plasma torch, grinders, drill press, sanders and other finishing tools
- Material handling (forklift and crane)
- Maintenance and calibration of equipment
- Frequent lifting of 60 lbs or more, and working on feet is required
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing with CNC based machines and metal working background
- Previous experience with fabrication, machine tooling, laser or plasma table operation
- Good math, PC and blueprint reading skills
- Knowledge of when and how to use calipers, micrometers, gauges and other measuring devices
- General understanding of machine shop equipment and safe operation
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Wage is $20-$30/hr or more, based on ability. Drug screen is required.
