Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile Skilled Tradesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience across various trades, including carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and finishing work. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from new construction to restoration and remodeling, utilizing a broad skill set to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and project success. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently or as part of a team in dynamic environments.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute projects accurately.
- Perform a wide range of construction tasks including demo, framing, concrete finishing, masonry, drywall installation (including plastering and stucco), flooring installation (tile and other materials), cabinet and door hanging, and trim carpentry.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and efficiently.
- Install glass, caulking, hardscape elements, and approach each task with precision.
- Perform demolition, restoration work, or remodeling as required on various sites.
- Ensure all work aligns with safety protocols and quality standards at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in multiple trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, electrical work, painting, plumbing, concrete finishing.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with construction management principles
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery safely.
- Experience working on diverse construction sites with the ability to adapt quickly to different project requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications or licenses related to specific trades (e.g., electrician’s license or welding certification) are advantageous but not mandatory. This position is ideal for experienced tradespeople eager to apply their skills across multiple disciplines in a dynamic environment while contributing to high-quality construction projects.
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
