JOB SUMMARY
The Activity Assistant is responsible for providing assistance with all resident activity related tasks. Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Assist with all resident activities, special events, holidays for the facility.
Assist with getting residents to/from activities.
Help plan and develop meaningful and creative activities for all residents in the facility.
Be a resident advocate where the resident is the center of all we do.
Ensure excellent & timely communication with residents, families, and staff.
Create positive resident outcomes.
Respect others by treating them the way we want to be treated.
Demonstrate kindness, compassion, honesty, and integrity at all times.
Help create a culture of superior customer service.

REQUIREMENTS
Successful criminal background check
Excellent communication skills
Long-term care facility experience preferred
Some weekend work required
