We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and lead our team. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily FOH operations and coordinate with the kitchen team
- Lead, supervise, and hold FOH employees accountable
- Ensure excellent guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally
- Manage opening and closing procedures
- Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, breaks, and performance
- Ensure proper staffing and assist with scheduling
- Train and develop servers, hosts, bussers, and food runners
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and restaurant presentation
- Ensure food is being run promptly and tables are properly maintained
- Monitor reservations, waitlists, and overall flow of service
- Handle cash, deposits, comps, voids, and end-of-day reporting
- Ensure employees follow company policies and procedures
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to maintain smooth FOH/BOH communication
- Monitor inventory and communicate operational or maintenance needs
- Help maintain compliance with health, sanitation, and safety standards
- Report operational concerns and employee issues to the Director of Operations
Qualifications
- 2 years of restaurant management experience preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience managing a high-volume restaurant strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing and coaching a diverse team
- Strong understanding of restaurant service standards
- POS and cash-handling experience
- Ability to handle difficult guest and employee situations professionally
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Must be reliable and able to work independently
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
What We’re Looking For
This is a hands-on management position. We are looking for someone who leads from the floor, not from the office. The manager should be actively involved during service, supporting employees, communicating with the kitchen, interacting with guests, and identifying problems before they affect operations.
We are looking for a manager who can take ownership of the restaurant during their shift and maintain consistent standards even when senior management is not physically present.
