Experience: 1 Year Required Certifications & Skills Skills: Facility births/month <100, Labor & Delivery, LDRP, Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Sterile vaginal exam, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Pre-eclampsia / eclampsia, Premature Rupture of Membranes, VBAC management / trial of labor, Spiral Electrode Placement, Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Administration of blood & blood products, Drawing Venous Blood, Starting and maintaining IVs, Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring, Antihypertensives, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Terbutaline, Assist with vaginal delivery, Circulate for C-section, Hemorrhage/shock, Recover C-Section, Sterile vaginal exam, APGAR scores, ID/Security Banding, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation, Discharge teaching to parents, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia, Thermoregulation, Epidural Anesthesia, Opioids, Pain assessment & management, Episiotomy/Incisional Care, Foley catheter insertion/management, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Section, Couplet Care, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Isolation Precautions/PPE Certifications: BLS, NRP, AWHONN Beginner Licensure: WA License or Compact License.
