Experience: 1 Year Required Certifications & Skills Skills: Antepartum, Facility births/month <100, Facility births/month 100-200, Labor & Delivery, NST (Non Stress Tests), Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Sterile vaginal exam, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Administration of blood & blood products, Drawing Venous Blood, Starting and maintaining IVs, Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin (oxytocin), Circulate for C-section, Recover C-Section, APGAR scores, Collect cord samples, ID/Security Banding, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation, Epidural Anesthesia, Pain assessment & management, Episiotomy/Incisional Care, Foley catheter insertion/management, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Wound assessment/care, Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Section, Multiple Births, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Advanced Licensure: OH License or Compact License.
