Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Contract Administrator to support the development of a centralized contract database for a growing healthcare organization. This role will focus on organizing, entering, and maintaining approximately 2,200 physician and vendor contracts within a contract management system.
This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong administrative and Excel skills who are looking to grow within contract administration and healthcare operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, organization, and maintenance of contracts and related documentation
- Enter and manage contract data in electronic contract management systems with a high level of accuracy
- Track contract statuses, approvals, renewals, and amendments, ensuring deadlines are met
- Support contract workflows, including routing for approvals and maintaining proper documentation
- Maintain organized electronic and paper files in compliance with confidentiality and retention policies
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and supporting documentation related to contracts
- Provide administrative support including scheduling, document distribution, and responding to inquiries
- Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to ensure contracts move efficiently through approval processes
QualificationsRequired:
- 2 years of administrative, clerical, or office experience OR relevant education
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred:
- Associate’s degree or coursework in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field
- Experience with contract management systems or DocuSign
- Experience in healthcare or corporate administrative environments
