We have immediate per diem (PRN) shifts available for the following position: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Springfield, OR.
Requirements:
- Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Beginner
- Required Skills: Antepartum, Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation), Assist with vaginal delivery, Asthma, Baby Nurse ("Baby Catcher"), LDRP, Level I Nursery, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Prostaglandins, Vaccine Administration, Administration of blood & blood products, Antihypertensives, APGAR scores, Assist with high risk delivery, Breastfeeding Support/lactation support, Cesarean Section, Circulate for C-section, Diabetes mellitus, Epidural Anesthesia, Facility births/month 100-200, Foley catheter insertion/management, Forceps/vacuum extraction, Fundus / lochia / perineum care, Hemorrhage/shock, ID/Security Banding, Infant Identification, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Labor & Delivery, Malpresentations (breech / face / brow), Multiple Gestation, Neonatal Resuscitation, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia, NST (Non Stress Tests), Opioids, Pain assessment & management, Pitocin (oxytocin), Placenta Previa/Abruptio, Pre-eclampsia / eclampsia, Pregnancy induced hypertension, Premature Rupture of Membranes, Preterm labor, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns, Recover C-Section, Reflex checks / edema assessment / clonus, Starting and maintaining IVs, Sterile vaginal exam, Sterile vaginal exam, Substance Abuse, Thermoregulation, Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring), Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of infusion pumps / drips / IV monitoring, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, Vaginal Delivery, VBAC management / trial of labor
